Webinar – What’s E-Rate have to do with E-Sports?

Competitive gaming isn’t new by any means, but it has become much more mainstream just in the past few years. However, questions remain regarding what exactly E-Sports is, what is required to start a program at your school – including funding options. Although you can’t fund your whole E-Sports initiative via E-Rate, you can use the funds to help build the network that would support it!
On August 19, join our virtual lunch-and-learn with Alcatel-Lucent. Speakers include Jeffery Palumbo, Global E-sports Solutions Manager EDU Lenovo and from Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Dave Fortini, Network Business Division Director and Greg Kovich, Director Education Solutions. We will explore the world of E-sports and what’s new in E-rate including funding allocation and eligible services to develop, enhance and secure E-Sports programs.
