Kansas Attorney General, Emporia
March 7, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm CST
Each year the Kansas Attorney General hosts several shred events around Kansas during National Consumer Protection Week, which is the first week of March. Shredding your personal information can help prevent Identity Theft so the AG’s office is providing a free service to 9 locations around Kansas. Find out more information on their website.
Help combat Identity Theft by bringing up to 5 boxes or bags of personal material to be shred for free. Please follow the lanes of traffic and remain in your vehicles for safety. We are NAID certified for destruction so you can feel confident your material will remain secure. The shredded paper will be recycled helping us all by reusing materials.
You can also check out the National Consumer Protection Week website for more resources and information on protecting your information online and from identity thieves.
