Underground Vaults and Storage, Inc. has again been accepted into the Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). The SHARP certification can be renewed every two years by continuing to meet all eligibility requirements and we have renewed ours until June 4, 2020.

Our Safety Coordinator and employees have successfully maintained an exceptional safety record as this is our 6th renewal since first receiving the certification in 2009. Each interim year we have a records and goal setting renewal and on the renewal years there is a physical audit and walkthrough to make sure we are still compliant.

SHARP is a nationwide program initiated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and recognizes small employers who operate an exemplary safety and health management system. There are only 168 SHARP-certified companies in Kansas.
