History Channel Program Featuring Underground Locations To Air Friday

An episode of the History Channel’s Modern Marvels highlighting underground locations from across the United States, will air Friday, December 10 at 8:00 pm CST. The episode, titled Secret Underground, includes a segment filmed in Hutchinson’s salt mine.

A production company for the History Channel was in Hutchinson in August. While in Kansas, focus was placed on the mining process of the Hutchinson Salt Company, the secure storage facility and motion picture clients of Underground Vaults & Storage, and the Kansas Underground Salt Museum, the world-class educational facility and tourist attraction located in the mine.
