The conference schedule is packed with great sessions on moving image preservation and archiving. These are right up our alley. Film and sound archiving is a very specialized field. There are many factors to consider when developing an archiving plan, including:

- Ease of retrieval or alternative access
- Disaster protection
- Theft protection
- Environmental barriers to preservation
