April marks the 30th Anniversary of our Topeka Records Center – and three decades since UV&S reached out beyond the salt mine to serve clients in a specific market.
After 26 years of operating solely out of the underground salt mine in Hutchinson, UV&S selected the Capitol city of Topeka as its first satellite facility in 1985. Topeka was an ideal first location due to demand from existing customers for more localized services, plus the ease of which that location could service customers along the I-70 corridor. UV&S Topeka soon established itself as the trusted partner for records and information management and is still the leader in the market to this day, servicing hundreds of clients in and around the Topeka metro area.
This isn’t just an anniversary for a building though. It is more a celebration of a long partnership with our friends and clients who have trusted UV&S for three decades – many since day one. To all of you, we say “thank you” and we look forward to another 30 years of working with you to provide the best storage and information management services in the market.
