HUTCHINSON, KS — Underground Vaults and Storage, Inc. (UV&S), a privately-held information management and technology company based in Hutchinson, Kansas, announces it has acquired Land Shark Shredding of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Land Shark Shredding (LSS), a mobile document destruction company founded in 2007, expands UV&S’s reach in Kentucky. UV&S already operates a secure storage and NAID-certified shredding facility in Louisville.
LSS provides NAID-certified destruction services with its fleet of mobile shred trucks throughout Kentucky, northern Tennessee and southern Indiana. Mandy Stuckey, current Vice President of Operations for LSS will serve as the Manager for this location. Five other LSS employees will remain to complete the operations team.

UV&S provides records storage, NAID certified destruction services and data center and technology support to worldwide clients along with event services to the entertainment industry. UV&S has eleven locations in the United States and two in the United Kingdom. UV&S is perhaps best known for its salt mine facility in Hutchinson, Kansas where it stores millions of items 650’ underground for some of the largest companies in the world, including the motion picture and television industry.
